ABOUT ME

Jill Crawford specialises in the treatment and rehabilitation of human, horse and canine patients across Northern Ireland. Chartered Physiotherapists pride themselves on providing ‘excellence’ through using a thorough approach in both the assessment and treatment of their clients. Working in partnership with vets, Jill can provide treatment and rehabilitation for musculoskeletal, neurological, and post surgical conditions.

Jill has undergone both an undergraduate degree in Physiotherapy and a further Post Graduate in Veterinary Physiotherapy from the University Of Liverpool Veterinary School.After qualifying in human physiotherapy in 2005 Jill has worked in areas such as orthopaedics, neurological rehabilitation, musculoskeletal sports injuries, cardiorespiratory and chronic pain management developing wide range of skills to manage complex problems. After qualifying Jill also continued developing skills with post graduate qualification in orthopaedic medicine, acupuncture and Pilates. Jill previously was an international presenter with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI) teaching the Pilates method to healthcare professionals worldwide.

Jill is also developed the Pilates for Horse Riding Course that was delivered by the APPI to train Pilates instructors on rider analysis and Pilates based exercises. A strong interest in muscle imbalance and human and horse physiotherapy means Jill can also provide in depth assessment and treatment of the horse and rider unit to optimise performance. Jill also is a qualified equine sports massage therapist after studying a diploma with Mrs Mary Bromiley in sports massage and rehabilitation for horses.
